Information we use

When you contact us, we use the information you provide to respond to your questions or request. This can include your name, contact details, company details and the contents of your message.

Contact requests and retention

We keep contact correspondence until we are satisfied that your request has been answered, and for three months afterwards. This allows us to refer to earlier information if you have a follow-up question.

Service providers and external content

We share personal information with the parties needed to provide the services you request, including our website hosting, email and newsletter providers. We do not sell your personal information. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam and automated abuse. This service processes technical information about your device and interactions to assess whether a request is genuine. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Some pages contain YouTube videos. Loading an embedded video establishes a connection with YouTube, which may receive device information and use cookies. Its own privacy policy applies. You can manage your choice in the cookie settings below.

Newsletters

The newsletter form asks for your consent to receive Atar Media updates. We use Mailchimp to manage subscriptions and send these emails. We use the email address you submit for those updates and retain subscription details until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in a newsletter or by contacting us. Cookies and your choices

The website uses cookies and similar storage for its operation, preferences and consent choices. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use this website, including page views, interactions and technical information about browsers and devices. Analytics cookies are controlled through the Statistics category in our cookie settings. Google Consent Mode adjusts Google tags to your choices; when consent is denied, Google may receive limited cookieless signals.

Our current Analytics settings retain event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months; the user-level period can restart when a user returns. Aggregated reports may be retained for longer. Google Signals is not enabled. See Google’s Privacy Policy for details of its processing, including international transfers.

Embedded YouTube videos are controlled separately through the External media category. You can review your choices or withdraw consent using the cookie settings below. You can also delete stored cookies using your browser settings.

Your privacy rights

You can ask us which personal data we hold about you and request access, correction, deletion or transfer of your data. You can withdraw consent, request a restriction or object to certain processing. Contact [email protected] with your request. Please identify yourself clearly so that we do not change or remove information belonging to someone else.

We normally respond within one month. If a permitted extension is needed because of the nature or complexity of a request, we will let you know. If you believe that we have not handled your privacy concern properly, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
