The story
In a children’s miniature-art workshop, Sümeyra Evsen introduces young makers to a detailed art form through practice. The film follows the children as they paint, explore and learn together, showing the care and enjoyment behind the workshop.
The workshop was supported by YTB — Yurtdışı Türkler ve Akraba Topluluklar Başkanlığı, a Turkish government organisation.
Our approach
We documented the workshop through the interaction between Sümeyra and the children, the work taking shape on the tables and the small moments of concentration in between. The film offers a warm impression of the project and the experience of taking part.
